VACANCY - PURCHASER
A well established client company with three sites in Ireland and over 1,000 employs requires a new purchaser as a result of expansion.
Over the
last few years - due to Restructuring internally the company has grown
phenomenally and is continuing to do so.
This is a
golden opportunity for someone who is looking to join a growing company

Working
closely with the Warehouse Manager and team.
Responsibilities
include:

Purchasing Stock on a global basis.

Monitoring and checking of prices on a global scale.

Providing Daily/Weekly reports to the Purchasing Manager
-
Analyse Data and Information received from various Sites and
Markets
-
Dealing with Suppliers
-
Negotiating better rates for the company.

Stock Control
-
Updating of Database of Prices continually
-
Planning Routes
-
Liasing with the other sites around Ireland
Candidate
-
Must have a purchasing qualification
- A
third level qualification (Not Essential)
-
Must have a minimum of 5 years working in the Purchasing field.
-
Ideally will have experience of the Pharmaceutical Industry.
-
Must be able to work in a fast paced environment.
-
Must be able to work under pressure.
