COST REDUCTION WORKSHOP
MARCH 19TH - 20TH [ 2009 ]
OVERVIEW
Now is the time for procurement and supply managers to aggressively demonstrate to their company that they can make a major contribution to surviving the downturn .
APS, with the help of leading experts in procurement, supply and project management has put together a timely workshop that will hone your skills and facilitate an interaction with your peers in developing and delivering winning solutions.
Today many procurement and supply managers find themselves in the kind of challenging economic environment perhaps never before experienced.
On March 19th - 20th next the Association of Purchasing and Supply ( APS ) is hosting a workshop specifically focused on the priority analysis of COST REDUCTION STRATEGIES.
Purchasing and supply staff are responsible for many facets of modern business, but none more in focus at the moment then spend and efficiency.
The last line of defense for many a company’s survival is the issuing of P45s. A line that no one wants to reach.
Managers with the power to reduce cost, improve efficiencies or eliminate waste have a moral and
professional duty to themselves, their colleagues and employers to ensure that they explore all possible cost drivers and with thorough analysis choose the best and least cost path for each activity.
HOW IT WORKS
Our workshop held over two days will facilitate the generation of cost reduction and avoidance measures that can be used by any company.
Participants will have the opportunity to learn and converse with their peers at an event where all in attendance have a common objective. Co-operation and collaborative initiatives will also be explored and encouraged.
WHO SOULD ATTEND
Each company should have at least one participant to represent their interests. Numbers are limited and bookings are taken on a first come first served basis.
