Planner - Apple - Cork

Overview

Apple currently has over 250 Apple Retail Stores World Wide,  25 of these are located in Europe.  We expect to grow our European Business significantly in the coming years.  eRFL manages Product Planning of all Apple and 3rd party products for these stores. We are seeking to recruit two dynamic, energetic and motivated individuals to join the eRFL team.

Located in our European Operations Head Quarters in Cork these new team members in addition to performing day to day planning tasks will work closely with other Operations teams, such as Logistics, in a cross functional environment providing increased synergy across our business.
If you are an experienced Planner with good communication skills and an ability to  integrate successfully with other teams in a cross functional environment then this position is for you. 

Responsibilities
  • Manage store in stock levels of assigned products. 
  • Interface and work closely with internal teams in Apple Operations and Retail to ensure overall supply/fulfillment for Retail. 
  • Excellent communication skills and work ethic are essential competencies for this role.
  • Ability to manage stress and thrive in a fast changing environment.
  • Excellent time management and organisation abilities.
  • Set up and maintain assigned products on SAP.
  • Review/maintain forecast on SAP
  • Set allocations for constraint products.
  • Help develop automated solutions and enhancements to optimise Retail Fulfillment.
  • Plan new store requirements and ensure fulfillment.
  • Plan and execute seasonal strategies.
  • Support merchandising objectives, planograms, promotions etc
  • Support store requests.

Skills and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree/IIPMM Diploma preferable, however, relevant experience may suffice
  • Knowledge of Planning/Purchasing systems (preferably SAP)
  • 4+ years Planning/Purchasing experience.
  • Project Management experience
  • Independence, self–reliance.
  • Initiating, dynamic.

  • Planning and organising.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work in a cross functional team environment.
