Objective
To provide a forum in which
Commodity Managers / Buyers would be able to access a large number
of Supply Companies from the Mid-West with a view to getting a
better understanding of the capabilities, competencies and cost
advantages of sourcing locally.
The
event and invitation
SNS is an open, sectoral
network of engineering, electronics and service sub supply companies
located in the Shannon region. Following last year’s highly
successful event we expect to increase the participation on both
sides to ensure a high quality level of presentations and
communication on the opportunities available. On Tuesday morning 14th
of October 2008, the Buyer Companies represented by their Commodity
Managers/Buyers and Supply Companies from the Mid-West will
participate in a ‘Meet the Buyer’ event, details below. You are
cordially invited to join us on the Tuesday morning for the ‘Meet
the Buyer’ event which will be held at the Radisson SAS Hotel,
Limerick, commencing 9.30 am.
Outline
of Meet the Buyer event
The event will commence with a
talk by a keynote speaker from industry who will be an exponent of
the successful practical application of supply chain network links.
Each
Buyer/Commodity Manager will have their own space, stand and tables
to exhibit their company and the range of commodities they currently
require or are forecasting to require. Each Supply Company will book
a slot with each Buyer. There will be meetings throughout the
morning with a short

would provide a small information pack with a single page summary of
their products and services. Each Buyer would provide a summary of
their requirements. You can prioritise meetings and meeting times if
you need some flexibility in the event and we would endeavour to
give you as much information prior to the event with regards to the
Supply Company participants.
