AMCS Ltd. are Technology leaders in the area of design and development of RFID tracking, weighing, mobile computing and communication hardware and software solutions. We currently have operations in Ireland, UK, Mainland Europe and the US. Due to expansion we currently have vacancies for the following position based in Limerick.

Responsibilities

Quality
• Responsibility for maintaining the Quality system and standards to ISO9001 requirements. This includes
o Conducting Internal audits according  to the audit schedule
o Ensuring that corrective and preventative actions are driven to closure
o Ensuring  the changes to controlled documents, drawings and procedures  are carried out in accordance with the defined change process.
o Assisting in the development of the Quality system across all depts. and divisions within AMCS.
o Monitoring supplier quality performance and generating appropriate KPI’s
o Monitoring  hardware field failures to ensure early detection of fault trends.
o Key contributor to the twice yearly Quality Management review.

Production
• Developing the manufacturing   systems to enable the build (software and hardware),testing  and shipping of the completed product operate systematically.
• Production planning and scheduling to ensure the requirements of the worldwide organization are being met.
• Managing  supply of critical, long leadtime products to ensure  supply  vs demand.
• Second sourcing of key products
• Monitoring test results at end of line production to ensure quality is being maintained.
•    Proactively seek ways to improve the efficiency of the production process and liaise with hardware and software development teams where appropriate.

Key Skills/Qualifications

• Relevant 3rd level qualification in a suitable discipline.
• 3+ years experience in technical production environment .
• Active experience of IS09001 systems and requirements- previous experience in Quality management is a distinct advantage.
• A high level of attention to detail is required.
• Experience in a high quality production environment is a distinct advantage.
• A strong capability to multi-task in a dynamic and energetic environment.
