Purchasing Manager Ashbourne Marriott Hotel are seeking a Purchasing Manager with immediate effect.
The successful candidate will be in charge of cost control and store management within our 4 Star Hotel in Ashbourne Co Meath.
The goal of the Purchasing Manager is to become fully knowledgeable and capable of accurately ordering supplies for the hotel. Reporting into the Director of Finance, the Purchasing Manager also has the fiduciary responsibility to the hotel and ownership. This role involves working in conjunction with the Executive Chef and F & B team to maintain consistency in the F & B department.
The Purchasing Manager must have training/experience in the following areas,
Purchase Order Procedures
Checkbook Maintenance
Purchase Pro Usage
Perpetual Inventory
Costing of F & B
Establishing Par Levels
Bidding Process
Receiving Report Reconcilation
The ideal candidate will be an enthuasiastic self starter with excellent drive and ambition. A strong aptitude for figures is also required coupled with strong communication skills.
