Job Title: Purchasing Assistant
Contract: Full Time – Permanent

Reports to: Purchasing Manager
Job Specification:
Responsible for planning, replenishment and supply line management for specific commodities. Purchase order management, order placement, delivery and payment process. Managing supplier performance, resolving indicator issues customer/suppliers and communicating supplier expectations. Tasks as determined by the Purchasing Manager. Maintainance of Price Books working with internal customers, ensuring accuracy and availability maintainance.
Skills & Knowledge & Experience:
- 1-2 years experience in a Buyer role/similar role
- Purchasing or Business qualification
- Competent in all MS Excel
- Knowledge of Materials Planning / Purchasing Management Systems
- Proven Customer Orientation
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
- An aptitude for business / commercial issues
