Operations Manager (Retail) Kepak, Watergrasshill, Co Cork.

Kepak Group is a young, professional and dynamic organization that has grown into one of Europe's leading food processing companies. 
 
The successful candidate will co-ordinate the multi-disciplined activities required to produce safe, quality products to agreed quantities and deadlines in a clean hygienic environment.
 
Responsibilites will include but are not limited to:
• Co-ordinate the preparation of the Production Schedule (weekly / daily) and amend as necessary
• Ensure target yields are achieved.
• Plan for achievement of schedule by ensuring materials and resources are available.
• Liaise with maintenance personnel to ensure smooth start up and running of equipment, and minimise down time.
• Achieve line efficiencies as agreed with Site Manager which will be constantly reviewed and improved upon with experience and/or introduction of new technology, leading to identifiable Measures of Performance
• Help, promote, supervise and encourage staff to deliver a quality product on a consistent basis by providing the example, commitment and information required and creating a positive working environment / atmosphere.
• To manage staff in accordance with Group Policies, in particular the Hygiene, Food Safety, Health and Safety and HR policies.
• Oversee the creation and maintenance of training files for all employee, and encourage ongoing training and development where required.
• Produce timely reports as required on inputs, outputs, yields, wastage, efficiencies, labour, customer returns, stocks, etc as required by the Production / Operations manager
 
Skills & Experience
• 2 – 3 years previous Management experience preferable in an FMCG
• Technically competent with Customer and Legislative requirements
• Ability to demonstrate effective leadership techniques
• Results orientated
• Confident and Decisive
• Good people management skills
• A logical & organised approach to their work
• Good IT skills
