Richardson’s Foods are a fresh produce and food distribution business specialising in the catering / food service sector. The company is ambitious and is currently implementing an expansion plan.

Due to continued growth in the business we currently have a position for an energetic: -
Operations Manager

Reporting to Managing Director the successful candidate will have a proven track record in managing dynamic business operations/logistics, excellent people leadership skills and a first-rate commercial focus. 

The objectives of the Operations Manager role will be to:
· Manage the control of stock from goods receipt to despatch, in a fast moving warehouse environment.
· Supervise the Delivery team to achieve efficient on-time delivery.
· Effectively manage the Retail Unit.
· Lead the Assembly team in assembling customer orders accurately and efficiently.
· Actively engage in the further development of the business as a key member of the management team.

This is a senior position reporting directly to the Managing Director.
The requirements for this position are:
· Minimum of 3- 5 years management experience in a dynamic, fast moving environment. (Preferably in the fresh food sector.)
· Proactive leader who will effectively drive initiatives to full implementation.
· Passionate about achieving excellence through process improvement and team leadership.
· Strong business acumen; with creative business development skills.
· A self motivated individual with excellent organisational skills.
· Strong focus on customer relationships and customer service.
