Senior Purchaser/Buyer required to join award winning hair & beauty distributor based in Naas, Co.Kildare.

Flair Hair & Beauty Supplies is an Irish (family run) company that has been supplying the professional hair and beauty trade since 1976. We now wish to hire a Purchaser based at our head office in Naas, Co. Kildare, salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

• Manage stock counting and reconciliation
• Maintain stock levels and liaise with the directors in relation to customer orders, quantities and stock issues
• Process purchase orders with suppliers
• Process Branch orders between our stores
• Administration of all shipping documentation
• Stock control and ordering
• Filing
• Ship returns to suppliers
• Liaise with the accounts administrator to ensure that inventory levels are maintained to optimum levels and taking necessary action to rectify any discrepancies
  

Requirements:

• 3+ years previous experience essential, in a similar role
• Good knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Outlook
• Experience using Navision software an advantage but not essential.
• Advanced organizational skills, attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills and telephone manner
• Must have ability to interact at all levels of the organization
• The ability to use your initiative, while adhering to a quality system
• Ability to cope under pressure and work to tight deadlines
