Position
Summary:
Responsible for souring the required product and
developing vendor relationships to ensure our competitiveness in the
market.

Principle
Responsibilities:
1.1
Work with Product Managers, Business Development
Manager and Regional Sales Managers to identify and meet product
requirements in the market place
1.2
Identify alternative, market acceptable, more
competitively priced medical products and services.
1.3
Identify and present best value options to the market.
1.4
Work with customers in order to provide optimal
solutions and strategies in alignment with their business requirement and
objectives.
1.5
Ensure that the company’s vendors have the necessary
capabilities to meet the demanding and changing needs of our business and
the needs of our customers.
1.6
Liase with Buyers to improve supplier performance on
all aspects of their service, with particular focus on improved pricing.
1.7
Ensure that contracts are negotiated and established
reflecting the company’s requirements
1.8
Identify and implement best practice models throughout
the business
1.9
Carry out projects and duties as assigned by your manager in an
efficient, timely and cost effective manner.
1.10
Frequent travel to achieve vendor development required.

Education
/ Experience
2.1
Educated to degree level with Medical Product knowledge preferable
2.2
Fluency in German preferable, fluency in French advantageous
2.3
Proven track record in
supplier relationship development
2.4
Expert in negotiation, 5yrs
experience at a senior level
2.5
Track record of successfully developing and managing internal and
external relationships

Must have a

in a fast paced environment.

Analytical skills, with a high attention to detail and
accuracy are essential

Good commercial understanding and numerical ability

communicate effectively and work with colleagues, vendors and customers
from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
