department Supply Management - General Procurement Europe at

position:
European Logistics Buyer
Your responsibilities:
Lead commodity buy strategy through strong
technical/market expertise and leverage supplier capabilities on an
European basis
to ensure that ongoing and new business activities meet best in
class competitiveness
Define the strategy for individual commodities
for European logistics
Translate strategies into objectives/action
plans and drive execution to deliver required business results by leading
projects and
cross functional teams
Assist Global commodity
strategy definition & volume leveraging as European representative of
Global Purchasing Commodity Group:
Logistics
Develop and drive
negotiation strategies with suppliers and establish contractual
relationships
Lead benchmarking initiatives to ensure that suppliers
are best in class
Develop and drive E-auctions for assigned purchase
commodities
Manage major logistics projects
Scope:
Roadfreight, Seafreight, Airfreight, Premium Freight
Packaging, Warehousing
Your qualifications:
Engineering or commercial
degree
At least 5 years automotive experience with technical expertise
in Logistics
Project leadership in cross-functional assignments
Excellent
MS Office skills (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Access)
Ability to develop
practical or innovative alternative approach to meet objectives
High
analytical skills
High personal motivation
Teamplayer
Excellent
presentation skills
Fluent in English and German, other languages a
plus
